Traditions to Start for Baby’s First Xmas!

Everyone wants baby’s first Christmas to be extra special but how do you achieve lots of magical moments without breaking the bank?

Here are some top tips for activities to start on baby’s first Christmas that you can do year after year. Turn them into some little traditions to keep the magic alive and create lasting memories that will be handed down through the generations!

  1. Xmas Eve Box

Investing in a good Xmas eve box that you can use each year has been a godsend. The contents change with some colouring, hot chocolate, and little treat to distract from the excitement of the big man’s impending arrival!

  1. Wooden Advent Calendar

Like the above, using the same calendar each year has been one of our favourite traditions. Santa makes a chocolate coin appear each night in the correct box. Its very cute and has the bonus of doubling up as a beautiful Xmas decoration!

  1. Visit Local Xmas Lights

Finding out when your local tree switch on is always a beautiful community event. Getting into the festive spirit locally can also save a fortune on the huge, organised events! Alternatively, we always have an evening driving around local decorations around the area too – added points for a flask of hot chocolate in the car!

  1. Make Some Xmas Treats

Who doesn’t love gingerbread at Xmas? Easier and quicker than you think to make and will fill the house with the delicious smell to make you feel super festive! It can also double up as some extra gifts for friends and family – if you are good at baking and don’t want to eat it all yourself!
