Who are Mini Magoos?

So, as you can probably tell from looking at my Facebook page and if you have a gander around my website www.minimagoos.co.uk, there is lots about what I do at Mini Magoos Sensory Play but not the person behind it.

Maybe I’m subconsciously trying to be like great and powerful OZ, hiding behind the curtain. But hopefully less balding and round and obviously less of a man too.

On the advice of many a person now I’m trying to make my social media, website and business be a little more personable, so my new customers know something about me before they walk into their first session.

But, what they don’t know is how incredibly hard I find it. I’m happy to sit in front of a room full of adults and babies and growl like a pirate, make hardcore farm yard animal noises and sing until my lungs give out to help everyone smile and learn. When faced with the task of being more open about myself on social media and on camera, it makes me want to run away and hide.

I’ve also always believed my classes are not about me. They are about the babies and the amazing mums that attend them. As without them I’m just a very odd person in a room on their own making pirate noises and singing Old Macdonald. This would almost certainly be classed as questionable behaviour. So, why would anyone want to see and hear anything about me? Apparently, in this age of social media (which I feel is rapidly leaving me behind day by day even at the age of 32!) this self-documenting is ALL the rage!

Over the next few weeks I’ll be trying my best to hit that Facebook live button and throwing my caution to the wind, so to speak! I’ll also be updating the website and Facebook page with a little bit more background around the launch of Mini Magoos and why our classes are how they have come to be!

So, my plea to you guys is please don’t be shy, give a comment or a like to the posts. Just to make me cringe just a little less!
